Set among beautiful lakes and mountains, Slovenia’s picturesque landscape offers the spectacular scenery in every season of the year. But winters in Slovenia are especially breathtaking. Here we are posting 10 photos, where you can enjoy some of the beauty of the Slovenian winter.
Our photos were taken while hiking in Gozd Martuljek, a settlement in the north-west Slovenia once called Rute and even today divided into Spodnje Rute (literally, ‘lower Rute’, located downstream on the Sava Dolinka River) and Zgornje Rute (literally, ‘upper Rute’.
